Associate Developer Sales Consultant

Shenzhen, China

POSITION SUMMARY: 
1. Support business development and transactional sales for Oracle Technology solutions by creating Proof of Concepts (POCs), demonstrations, scripts and presentations.
2. Use technical development skills in support of business and sales initiatives in the following areas:
a) J2EE solutions
b) Application Servers, especially Oracle Application Server
c) Collaboration Suite
d) Open source technologies
3. Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracle Technology and other open source and competitive technologies, and transfer such knowledge to other Sales Consultants and Sales Reps.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Up to 2 years IT industry experience ¨C highly valued, although graduates accepted
2. RDBMS/Java/J2EE/HTML programming (developer) experience/skills essential
3. Application Server experience essential
4. Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity essential
5. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organisation essential
6. Ability to lead a team valued ¨C evidence by either project or personnel management experience
7. DBA skills/experience highly valued for others
8. Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle's technology products highly valued
9. Ability to work independently and with a team
10. Ability to work to a deadline within loose project guidelines required
11. Self motivated, desire to learn independently required
12. Strong communication and training skills required
13. Competitive product knowledge is highly regarded
14. Fluency in Mandarin - essential
15. Good command of English in reading and writing, fluent oral English skill preferred
