sth valuable(maybe) about ofbiz framework:

1.ofbiz implemented a powerful flexible and standarlized xml process description schema for its service engine, which named MiniLanguage, that is pretty coooooool!!!

2.its entity engines is good but not the best. it is not very flexible and not extendable too. for exmaple, if you have to execute a very complex query which joined three or more tables and many sql function used, let us to be honest, the entity engines sucks.

3.in ofbiz, the service engine strongly depends on its entity engine. you wanna a seprated service engine withou entity engine?sorry, no way!and i DO hate it!!!

4.i like the service concept! it is extremely nice, clear interface definition and brilliant flow control.

晚上从cvs下载了最新的Shark,感觉与v1.0beta1版本相比变化比较大:
1.模块化,包结构变化很大.
2.新增UserGroup模块,提供Dods和ldap两种实现;
3.新增Transaction和UserTransaction模块,提供Dods实现;
4.XPDL单独划分为一个模块;
5.新增Script Mapping,且提供Dods实现;
6.提供了一个JSPClient的demo模块;
7.提供了两种Admin Application:Corba,user shark as a library;
8.新增Authentication模块,提供dods和ldap实现;
9.client接口和核心接口单独划分为一个模块;
10.支持多数据库.
由于采用面向接口的方式,很容易将Dods替换为其他持久实现,如Hibernate等.
今天只是粗略看了一下,明天再深入看看.
